January 2023: According to the preliminary survey data, Maryland gained 8,200 jobs in January,
February 2023: According to the preliminary survey data, Maryland decreased by 3,900 jobs in February.
Unemployment Rate
January 2023: The Unemployment rate remained the same at 3%
February 2023: The Unemployment rate in February was the lowest rate on record at 2.9%.
