HR Generalist is responsible for supporting and executing a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance, with a focus on both English and Spanish-speaking employees. This role requires strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to manage multiple HR processes while ensuring adherence to company policies and legal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruitment and onboarding process for new hires, including job postings, interviews, offer letters, and orientation.
  • Assist in employee relations by addressing workplace concerns, providing conflict resolution, and maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and compliance with regulations (e.g., healthcare, 401(k), FMLA).
  • Support performance management processes, including appraisals, feedback sessions, and employee development plans.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws, as well as company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices in both English and Spanish.
  • Assist in training and development initiatives, including new employee training and ongoing staff development programs.
  • Coordinate and conduct HR-related communications in both English and Spanish (e.g., employee handbooks, policies, announcements).
  • Handle sensitive employee issues with discretion and confidentiality.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of HR experience, with a broad understanding of HR functions (recruitment, employee relations, benefits, compliance).
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams.
