We are looking for a Controller to provide accounting and operational management for a highly successful company and drive innovation within the accounting function. You will have the opportunity to take ownership and help build an exceptional accounting team.
- BS in Accounting or Finance
- 7-10 years of relevant experience- statutory accounting experience is preferred
- CPA designation
- Ability to learn and apply technical accounting principles in the insurance industry
- 2+ years of direct supervisory experience demonstrating skills in motivating and mentoring a team
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
- Organized and comfortable working independently with multiple priorities
- Willingness to take on challenges, think analytical and solve problems
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients, Board Members and regulatory agencies
