You will be responsible for managing a small team and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department which includes month-end and year-end processes, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and balance sheet forecasting and reconciliations.
Other responsibilities:
Various reporting of key KPIs
Developing employees through mentoring and coaching and drive accountability across the accounting team department
Variance analysis of key balance sheet and P&L accounts
Working with the Controller to establish and enforce proper accounting methods and policies
Qualifications:
5 or more years of corporate accounting or public accounting/audit experience
Certified Public Accountant nice but not a must have
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent leadership and coaching skills
